Our 25th Wedding Anniversary

Our 25th wedding anniversary was on 27 Jan 2010 but decided to celebrate it with a few family members on Sunday 31 Jan 2010 @Aneka Rasa Restaurant, Kiulap. Thanks to everyone who attended the function. We hope you had a lot of fun and our apologies for anything short of your expectation. Thank you for all your doa.

Why is 1st day always hectic?

So happy to be on leave for the last 2 weeks but coming back to the office, that's a totally different story. Really feel like should not have gone on leave due to the outstanding work.

So what did I do during my leave? Went to Miri and Singapore after not being to these places for a long time and attended a nephew's wedding in between.

Inspirational

As part of our effort to learn more about padi planting, we were really grateful to Pehin Aziz (and Hj Zak) for their time to take us around their padi field in Wasan and sharing tips and experiences. We hope one day we will be able to produce padi from our land in Lot Sengkuang Labi. So far, we only managed to manually clear the land and it surely took a lot of effort by my brother and our helpers to get to this result

Less is better?

Just want to share photos from events I attended this week...

Attended the Empire Hotel Hari Raya Open House last Tuesday in their new Grand Hall. Only brought along my Lumix LX3 and did not take a lot of photos. The ambience was splendid and a lot of food to choose from.

And last night GavinGoh, Gembo and myself were invited by JanShim for an outing at the Chung Ching 71st School Anniversary Dinner. I think I took too many photos (aimlessly!) and decided to post these few only.

The waiting

Too much waiting... too much time wasted but it's time in your hands to sit back and reflect... do a reality check. If you feel you're floating all over the place with no real objective in life, then maybe you need this big iron ball to hold you down nearer to the ground.
