Fixed wings...

If you walk round the two lakes in Bukit Shahbandar, you will most likely be able to see the different coloured dragonflies...








One new year resolution will be to get the Canon EF 100-400mm lens.

Wow, I didn't know there are a few kinds of butterflies. Pretty colours too. Thank you for taking the time to show us. I'm sure this take a LOT of patience.

i like the blue and yellow one as i've never seen them before. i hope to find the orange one as well but found none that day. it took me more than an hour to get round the small lake as i stop from time to time and have to wait for the right moment. glad you like them and should be good knowledge for the children as well.

way to go bro,I need to stop by bukit shahbandar one day. Tonite i'm goin t o BSRC for a gig. one of the bands playing is dc blues. I'll be playing with Azren also.

Beautiful pics of our 6-legged friends... you captured it well... love your dragonflies pics. Btw did you know that the patterns on the wings are mirror image of the other? I have drawn them before in my invertebrate class...back in the good ol' days
