We got a date...

Went out with Anakbrunei, Bruneian and Zadm for a photo outing on Sunday 17 Dec 2006. We met at Ginchu in Gadong, a place I've never been before. Luckily, Anakbrunei as usual always come up with a marked-up map using Google Earth and I found my way on the first try. After breakfst we decided to go to Tamu Kianggeh and the Bazaar at Jalan Sultan. The theme was "street photography" and we agreed to shoot in raw and manual settings. All these are unusual to me as I realise that I'm quite a shy photographer. Manual settings? Why crack my head when there's auto mode? But when I tried and on the hints and pointers given by the others, I learn to appreciate the creative use of the mode. The photo above is of a fish monger selling fish in his boat at the Kianggeh River and below is one of the stalls at the Jalan Sultan Bazaar.
Before leaving town, I cannot resist the temptation to walk round Masjid Sultan Omar Ali Saifuddin and taking photos from all angles using my Canon EF-S 10-22mm.

I was tired and exhausted but my family was waiting for me at Bukit Shahbandar. That's the 3rd trip to Shahbandar in two weeks... and hundreds of photos.
